Murtaza is an Associate Partner with the Mumbai office of HSA Advocates and is part of the Dispute Resolution and Real Estate practice group. Murtaza graduated from GLC in 2009 and brings professional experience of more than 6 years.


In his extensive litigation experience, he has represented clients in the Supreme Court of India, Bombay High Court and other courts and tribunals in India including arbitral tribunals. He has advised and represented clients in a variety of matters, from commercial and property related litigations to matters involving Constitutional Law issues.


Murtaza also has expertise in real estate matters including drafting and reviewing property related documents with a focus on advising and representing clients in matters relating to transfer of property and conveyancing.


Prior to joining the firm in August 2014, he worked at ALMT Legal and Mulla & Mulla & Cragie Blunt & Caroe. Murtaza also holds the degree of Masters in Business Laws (MBL) from the National Law School of India University (Bangalore).
