Deepak’s focus areas of practice are Projects, Infrastructure and Project Finance with particular emphasis on Public Private Partnerships (PPP). He works on transactions with domestic banks and financial institutions, as well as multilateral institutions like Asian Development Bank and International Finance Corporation.


Deepak has advised on the development of several projects, including energy, mass rapid transit systems, roads, highways, mining and airports. He handles project specific dispute resolution at both domestic and international levels, and is experienced in advising on regulatory and policy issues, foreign investment (inbound and outbound), clean technology and sustainable development projects as well as environmental law, with a focus on CDM projects under the Kyoto Protocol.


Prior to joining HSA Advocates, Deepak worked on project implementation and related disputes at a leading Indian law firm.
