A trek to Stok Kangri, Leh was organised by HSA to raise funds for Childreach International India, which is part of a global charity which works for welfare of underprivileged children in India, with specific focus on Education. Hemant Sahai trekked for a total of 8 days and attempting to scale the Stok Kangri Peak at an altitude of 6150 mtrs (20,178 feet), which has been described as a challenging trek and is a training peak for people attempting the Everest climb. One of our partners, Aparajit Bhattacharya, sits on the board of Childreach and commits time on a pro bono basis towards the activities of the NGO. We also supported the Childreach International India with donations.
